I agree with the anonymous poster above. This picture should be removed immediately. Why in the world should a poster of a DIFFERENT Gertrude Hoffman be on the page of THIS Gertrude Hoffman?? Confusing, confusing, confusing. --Schmendrick 04:04, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Gertrude Hoffman[edit]

Someone entered a lot of completely wrong biodata text relating to a similarly named person in Gertrude Hoffman's page. See [1] for the info relating to the other Gertrude Hoffman who was in fact married to Ralph Hoffman, a Harvard-educated teacher and natural scientist. This actress here was married to Max Hoffman. I agree! Please change the file immediately. The Gertrude Hoffman of this articles was born in San Francisco, and was born as Kitty Hayes. I could write a bio if desired. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jhoward58 (talkcontribs) 02:24, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have attempted to clear up the confusion with the bios on Gertrude Hayes Hoffman and Gertrude W. Hoffmann. I’ve also come to believe that Gertrude “Trude” Hoffmann, the latter’s daughter, may have been the actress who appeared in a number of post WW I German films. She became the wife of composer Sir Arthur Bliss in 1925.John F. Barlow (talk) 06:54, 11 July 2011 (UTC) ← — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jfbarlow (talkcontribs) 23:38, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
