National City Regional HQ[edit]

National City has been absorbed by PNC Bank. Shouldn't this be taken out? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.150.177.49 (talk) 20:39, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2010 Population[edit]

I just looked up the population for the tract that covers downtown Pittsburgh (the CBD/Golden Triangle), and it shows the population having dropped 30.5% since 2000, but it gives the population as being 3,629, which is quite a bit higher than the 2,000 something residents listed on this page for the 2000 Census. What gives, and isn't it time to update the figure? --Criticalthinker (talk) 10:25, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Quick note about article's name[edit]

Usually, Pittsburgh neighborhoods have an article name format like Highland Park (Pittsburgh) using the official name of the neighborhood, which in the case of this article would yield Central Business District (Pittsburgh). However, this article is an exception, being called simply Downtown Pittsburgh. I'm not sure who made this decision or when, but per WP:NAME, I think it is the correct decision, since virtually no one actually says "central business district" when talking about downtown. I'm just making my support explicit on the talk page now in case future editors wish to debate it. —Bill Price (nyb) 16:00, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
