Dala horse features in "Kitchen Stories" movie[edit]

Maybe someone would like to add a popular culture section? I don't want to give away too much of the movie's plot, and I preferred the "Art of Negative Thinking" and "Elling", but still... (ChocoCereal (talk) 05:35, 29 October 2008 (UTC))[reply]

General Reference[edit]

A general reference for the early production of dala horses can be found at www.dalahorse.info. The pages are in Swedish though, but google translate makes most of it intelligible. Since I am not sure what the policy is on references in another language I refrained from adding it. Feel free to add it if such references are ok.

Variants?[edit]

Are photos of variants appropriate? There is a Dala Horse in front of the Scandia, MN fire department, painted like a Dalmatian (a common fire dept mascot). Not certain that it's entirely relevant to the culture, though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.153.247.93 (talk) 05:09, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
