Height[edit]

Either this or the "Christ the Redeemer" page is inaccurate, because they both say that this one is taller, however the heights that they list say differently. This says it is the tallest of its kind at 33 meters, while the "Christ the Redeemer (statue)" page says that it (Christ the Redeemer) is the second tallest of its kind at 38 meters (second to this one, which says it's only 33 meters.)

The Christ the Redeemer statue is also 33m, although slightly shorter, according to the reference. I believe the other article is claiming the height of the pedestal along with the height of the statue. It's confusing. -- PEPSI2786^talk 03:00, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Christ the King (statue) in Świebodzin (Poland) is claiming to be the tallest Jesus statue. The sources (in Polish) on the English version of that page give 33m for the statue proper, and 2m for the crown, and from this picture it's clear that the not all the 2m for the crown can be added to the 33m. To complicate things, the Polish one appears to be mounted on a 16m embankment. i've started a discussion at pl:Dyskusja:Pomnik_Chrystusa_Króla_w_Świebodzinie#Najwiekszy_pomnik.3F and also on the en. page, and i'm changing the wording to make it clear that the claim to highest is still not yet well established.
