Great work! I separated this off from Champagne because I planned to add some primary source quotations from Lopez and Raymond (1951), Medieval Trade in the Mediterranean World. I never got around to it, though I may eventually. Srnec (talk) 19:04, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am ambivalent about the headings I put in, but I do feel the article is long enough to warrant some - preferably enough to trigger a TOC, which I have not managed to my liking yet. - PKM (talk) 01:56, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request a change to the page. The section "Dominance and decline," third paragraph, the sentence containing, "The effect of the mini Ice Age and population." The link to "Ice Age" currently points to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_Age which is a general link to Ice ages should probably point to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Ice_Age because it is more specific to the subject at hand and reduces additional research on the readers part.
