Barack Obama vs. Mitt RomneyBarack Obama vs. Mitt Romney (video)Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 January 21#Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden resulted in retargeting two redirects with a similar title to the corresponding US presidential elections. I suggest that the 2012 election is the primary topic here, too, and should be redirected there. 𝟙𝟤𝟯𝟺𝐪𝑤𝒆𝓇𝟷𝟮𝟥𝟜𝓺𝔴𝕖𝖗𝟰 (𝗍𝗮𝘭𝙠) 21:19, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, but definitely 100% make a disambiguation page at the basename. When it's so specifically phrased like this, it could really go either way on which page readers want to go to, so a dab page is definitely the best course of action. (And, so we won't have to have an awkward hatnote on the page of a presidential election saying "'Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney' redirects here. For the Epic Rap Battles of History episode...") • Comment: No strong feelings either way but I'm not convinced anyone searching for the election is going to put this in, so I'd be inclined to keep things as they are. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamacfarlane (talkcontribs) 18:17, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, and redirect the current title to the election page. Of course it isn't a tossup between a US election and a YouTube video, not even one from a popular series. Readers who search this will expect to find some content about the election. 50.248.234.77 (talk) 19:16, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - 2012 United States presidential election is the primary topic. I'm not sure whether a DAB page here or a hatnote at 2012 United States presidential election is worse. power~enwiki (π, ν) 23:54, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
