Husband and son[edit]

"Alison Uttley lost both her husband and her son to suicide." [1] This doesn't seem to be reflected in the article.Pliny (talk) 22:35, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Enid Blyton[edit]

In Uttley's published diaries, she says she met Enid Blyton only once (p295). Although they lived in the same town, they weren't in any real sense "neighbours" nor did Uttley have some kind of vendetta against her, although reviews of Uttley's diaries/biographies have liked to imply this.
