Duh[edit]

Is it really necessary to say that Abelisaurus is an abelisaurid dinosaur, because given the name "Abelisaurus" I'd say it's fairly obvious to even the most uninformed reader. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.36.148.242 (talk) 00:57, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not all readers will know that Abelisaurids exist, let alone that Abelisaurus is the namesake of the group. MMartyniuk (talk) 12:25, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Amazing Dinoworld[edit]

In this documentary, the head of the abelisaur is feathered. There are some other jarring errors in this so-called 'accurate' sci-doc, but that one stood out to me. Should the higher level article reflect that ceratosauria are not thought to have developed feathers? 50.111.33.78 (talk) 18:49, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we don't know, and no reliable sources cover this, so we can't do anything. FunkMonk (talk) 19:06, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
