On 15 November 2023, during the 2023 Hamas–Israel war, an airstrike by the Israeli warplanes targeted and bombed Sabra mosque in central Gaza, reportedly killing at least 50 people and injuring many more, according to Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and Wafa, the state-run news agency of the Palestinian Authority.[1][2][3][4]
