Red Oak Township is one of seventeen townships in Cedar County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2000 census, its population was 194.

History[edit]

The first cabin in Red Oak Township was built in 1836 by the Oaks family.[3]

Geography[edit]

Red Oak Township covers an area of 23.66 square miles (61.3 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains one cemetery, Red Oak.
