Isaiah Michael Macwealth (born 3 June 1981) is a Nigerian clergyman and televangelist who is the founder of the Gospel Pillars International Church.[1] Macwealth is an author and the originator of One Sound Revival TV - a broadcast media project that preaches the unity of faith, and integration among Christian believers through non-denominational practices and sermons.[2] His International church, which functions as an arm of Isaiah Wealth Ministries, has its operation across different continents including Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe.[citation needed]
Early in 2024, Macwealth made a claim that he saw God physically in person, causing a reaction online.[3]

Macwealth became a financial Advisor and started a financial academy.[2]
Career[edit]
Macwealth started ministry in 2004. The clergyman claimed he saw Jesus during his final year as a student at the University of Benin, calling him into ministry.[2] He is the founder of Gospel Pillars International Church.[4] Alongside the creation of a gospel TV house, a charity house and writing spiritual books and song, in 2024 he unveiled a mega church facility in Lagos called the Ark of Light for all Nations. The building sits on 8,9000 square meters land with an auditorium that can contain 10,000 worshippers.[5][6]
Macwealth was inducted into the Nigerian Books of Record in 2022.[7]
Philanthropy[edit]
Macwealth has been involved in various philanthropic initiatives aimed at addressing poverty and assisting marginalized communities in Nigeria.[citation needed] Through The Empowerment Network (TEN) and The Isaiah Wealth Initiative (TIWI), Macwealth focuses on providing humanitarian aid, educational support, healthcare interventions, and financial empowerment opportunities, particularly in the wake of natural disasters.[2] Macwealth has set targets to reduce poverty by a significant margin by 2030, recognizing the pressing need in Nigeria amid economic challenges.[2]
Macwealth launched a food and emergency bank initiative, Ark of Light Food and Emergency Bank (ALPEB), to provide emergency support, including food supplies, to vulnerable families.[8]
Controversy[edit]
Macwealth sparked controversy with his claim of surviving a close-range shooting without the bullet penetrating him. According to Macwealth, he was confronted by armed individuals and shot at with an AK-47, but the bullet failed to injure him, dropping to the ground instead.[3]
He has made prophetic statements regarding the end times, he predicted a date for imminent rapture. These claims have drawn both support and skepticism.[3]
