Misleading[edit]

The article is very misleading, to say the least, as it suggests that Camp Herkus is a US military base, owned by the US armed forces. That is not backed by any WP:RS and is simply not true. It remains "Pabradė Training Area" (Lithuanian: Pabradės poligonas) [1], an area of ~12,500 hectares (31,000 acres), where Camp Herkus is just one of the facilities, hosting a rotation of the US troops. Also, by law, the US forces could not own it; they can only operate in it.

I suggest renaming this article to "Pabradė Training Area" where various facilities, including Camp Herkus, could be described. CC @Renata3.

Ah thank you, I was a little confused writing this yesterday. Thank you for letting me know. CormacGallagher (talk) 12:21, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Mindaur, yes, I noticed that. Please go ahead an move the article to Pabradė Training Ground and re-write it accordingly. Renata3 03:06, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
