Ninja Gaiden '88 is a manga-influenced comic book limited series published by Dark Horse Comics and based on the video game series of the same name. It was served as a continuation of Hideo Yoshizawa's five Ninja Gaiden games, Ninja Gaiden (1988), Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos (1990), Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom (1991), Ninja Gaiden Shadow (1991) and Ninja Gaiden X (2004).
