Darian Rural District (Persian: دهستان داريان)[3] is in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Darian.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,712 in 2,127 households.[5] There were 8,622 inhabitants in 2,385 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,636 in 2,355 households. The most populous of its 39 villages was Tarbor-e Jafari, with 1,795 people.[2]
