The Church of St. John of God (or Igreja de São João de Deus) was a monastery and hospital that existed in Diu until its destruction in 1832–1835.[1] It was dedicated to Our Lady of Carmel and run by a Hospitaller order.[2] After its collapse, its services were moved to the nearby Church of St. Francis of Assisi[3] According to historical maps, the church adjacent to a cemetery, which is still in use today.[4]
