Sub Categories[edit]

Since the primary category "Military in California" is not specific as to what should be included, it appears most of the articles should be split out into more specific sub-categories. For example, military bases should be moved to the "Military Facilities in California" sub-category or the "Forts in California" sub-category. Military squadrons, rigiments, batalliions, could be moved to a new sub-category, "Military units in California", but I'm not sure if that would be the preferred label. Any thoughts? I created "Military in the San Francisco Bay Area" to diffuse the category a bit, and to highlight the role of the military in the Bay Area. I would also suggest Category:Military history of California, as we have this category for other states as well.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 16:40, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
