Shallow water waves[edit]

Output from a shallow water equation model of water in a bathtub. The water experiences 5 splashes which generate surface gravity waves that propagate away from the splash locations and reflect off of the bathtub walls.

This appears in shallow water equations. Visually striking and illustrates the content very well.

Comments:

  • Support I like that you can see exactly where each splash and their relavent ripples are within the animaltion. I do not know if you intentially meant to slightly change the color of each splash ever so slightly. However, you can see it quite easily after viewing it a few times. --BlindEagletalk~contribs 17:59, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
