Presidents height and weight article[edit]

I was wondering if I will get in trouble because I borrowed the height chart from another article. I added the weights to it and also included a new image on the side. Thank you for the advice. I put "Parts of this table was copied from Heights of presidents and presidential candidates of the United States; see that pages history for attribution." under the table. Hickson 40 deletion[edit]

Hello. I had noticed earlier that someone put a "copyvio" header under the article Hickson 40. I then went and redid most of the article to the point where EarWig said that similarities were under 10%, and then you deleted after the issue had already been fixed. I don't know if there is a way to bring back articles, but yeah. The article should have been completely fine. Also the source that you mentioned in the deletion message, "EurekAlert" was at under 15% similar, so I have no idea how it was deleted under "unambiguous copyright infringment". MemeGod ._. MemeGod ._. New Pages does an automatic copyright violation check, which showed ~55% and the text in the tool (not earwig) looked to be a pretty close copy. However, looking at the text again, although it's clearly paraphrased from the source, it looks OK, so not sure if there was some time lag. I'll restore and revdel the early history. Kelu, I posted a message about Conflict of Interest on your talk page, please read it. Basically, if you have any association with the company you referenced, you are required to disclose that affiliation or risk being blocked for not doing so. I can restore the deleted text as a draft or sandbox, but you need to address the COI issue first.

You are entitled to ignore what to me seems to be a good suggestion from Klbrain, but if you say that it's not a catalogue, but is a list of "tissue-specific promoters that molecular biologist frequently used", you will need references to confirm that claim for your entries Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:00, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Eurospares article[edit]

Hi, thanks for the information re: COI and advertising. I spent a lot of time ensuring that the content was accurate and not written like a promotion. I included lots of sources/citations as well.
