The colors in the flag are incorrect--the blue is rather purple. The blue should be #002147, and the red should be #BB133E.

Not done: This is a local copy of an image on Commons, so the request should be made there and the amendment copied across. That said, the amendment is actually quite simple - the two colours are specified on the fill= attributes of two <rect /> elements, and have values fill="#B22234" and fill="#3C3B6E" The change may be made in any plain text editor. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:27, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The current svg version of the US flag has spacing issues when rendering the stars. Please check it out, and you will notice the stars are not spaced out properly, especially close to the right edge. I recreated the svg file using Adobe Illustrator to fix those issues.
